The important part: Furina's generated Director context can be sent with your message while remaining hidden from your normal local chat presentation.
The model can still ignore or misunderstand an instruction. Furina improves consistency by keeping guidance available — it cannot guarantee obedience.

Persistent Director Notes can accompany multiple messages until you disable them.

Furina only recognizes and hides blocks containing
its own internal markers. A normal message you type
beginning with ooc: remains visible.
Direction that expires after one turn.
Use this when you want something to influence the immediate response without becoming a permanent rule.
After the next successful send, the temporary instruction can clear instead of staying active throughout the story.

Presets add a small set of genre-aware Director rules. They work alongside your notes, Guard Rails, cues and knowledge boundaries rather than replacing them.
Avoid rushing intimacy; let affection emerge through behavior, small choices and unresolved tension.
Reveal threats gradually, use environmental clues and keep injuries, routes and resources consistent.
Keep school rules, classes, clubs, faculty roles, reputation and academic complications present.
Keep consequences persistent, choices meaningful and urgency high without removing user agency.
Preserve the central mystery, seed interpretable clues and keep character knowledge limited.
Choose “No preset” when your own Director Notes, Guard Rails and scene tools already describe exactly what you want.
